In working for a newspaper, I see how social media affects how news is delivered. The New-Media class that I am making this blog for is helping me to stay up on the newest advancements in digital media.
My main goal with this blog will be to write enjoyable and informative pieces for my readers that gives insight into events that are happening around the world. Along with giving me some variety in my writing style and helping me to break away from pure print journalism.
One of the main things I have been following lately is the 2012 GOP Primary. I support Ron Paul in this election but I feel that he has never been given a chance because the media constantly overlooks him.
The election is the main issue that I've been following so stay tuned to my blog and I'm sure you'll fine some more thoughts and opinions on that.
Oh and one more thing about me. I volunteer with water.org to help in revising and rewriting stories about the work that they are doing to solve the water crisis. It is a fantastic organization and I suggest that you all donate or purchase a water bottle. For $25, you can give one person clean water for the rest of their life.
